Accreditation

What is Christian Schools International?

Founded in 1920, CSI was the first national organization

to exclusively serve Christian schools. They believe faith

and learning are inseparably linked, with God’s word as

the foundation for truth found in every academic subject.

They assist with accreditation, curriculum, employee benefits, and leadership development, all with the goal

of increasing the effectiveness of Christian schools

as they seek to transform the world for Christ.

MCS is accredited by Christian Schools International, which is evidence of meeting rigorous standards for quality instruction. This includes the state certification of all required teachers

and a completion of a Bachelor’s Degree, at a minimum*.

What does being fully-accredited mean?

  • It means MCS takes part in a reflective, continuous improvement plan to ensure

the highest quality standards for our students and families.

  • Our mission and vision are constantly improved to ensure a strong faith-based foundation.

  • Assurance of full compliance with all local, state, and national requirements and standards.

  • Each component of our mission is evaluated for consistency and daily implementation.

  • Teachers and staff are accountable to meet team and individual goals. They participate in continuous personal improvement through research and educational development.

*Not all specialties require state certification. All teachers must have or be actively obtaining certification. â€‹

Past accreditations include Christian Schools International’s “Vision to Action", a 3-year process that took place between 2009 and 2011.  From there, 'Sight Improvement Goals' were identified

and scheduled for completion at intervals during the next five years.

In 2016, MCS was re-accredited through CSI's “Measuring the Mission" campaign. A new set of goals was established, which the Board, administration, and staff diligently worked to complete

over the next five year period.

Although postponed slightly due to COVID, our accreditation was most recently renewed in 2023.

Thank you to our staff for once again completing this detailed administrative process!
