'25-26 School Board
The individuals below have been elected by the Society to represent the parents of Monroe Christian School. They are an all-volunteer team that devotes countless hours to the furtherance of our school and its mission. Stop them in the hallways, introduce yourself at a committee meeting, or bend their ear over coffee; they represent your family and they want to get to know you better!
DR. PHILLIP REDD
President
Dr. Redd is father of three alumni, Maddy, MacKenzie, and Nichole, as well as sons Dylan and Brandon. Dr. Redd is a retired dentist and past board member. He and his wife Annie are grandparents to Jaime in Kindergarten. His late wife, Pam, was the inspiration behind the annual Christian Living Award.
PABLO GUERRERO
Vice President
Pablo and wife Melina are parents to Dalton and Olivia. They have attended since 2016. He works as a project manager and attends Gold Creek Church. Monroe. Pablo has been very involved with planning and the new building project, as well as helping in the classroom.
DAVIN ALSIN
Secretary
Davin and his wife Kayleigh are parents to Tessa and Taylor, who have attended MCS since 2020. Davin is an EMT and firefighter, and serves on the Snohomish Cty. Board of Fire Commissioners. He leads the Safety Committee and can often be found at recess. They attend Cascade Church.
KATIE SAEE
Treasurer
Katie and husband Ramsin are parents to David and Cole. They have attended for five years. She works as a Director of Accounting for Costco and serves on the school's Finance Committee. Her family attends Cascade Church.
MEGHAN VONJOUANNE
Meghan and her husband Chris are parents to Athena, Greyson and Lincoln. She is an HR Specialist, and is very active at her church as a 'Life Group' leader. She co-leads Moms in Prayer and is very involved in the classroom.
JON VAN NIEUWENHUYZEN
Jon and his wife Rachel are parents to Anna and Thomas. His family has attended since the school's founding in 1956. He runs a dairy farm, is an active member of New Hope Fellowship Church, and leads the Building & Grounds team.
MATT ZYLSTRA
Matt and his wife Jennifer are the parents of Brayden and Wyatt, and have attended since 2017. Matt is an Army veteran and works as a Finance Specialist, serving on the Finance Committee. They attend Cascade Church.
